Man Fridays Lobster House

On the Rocks

The Cary Arms & Spa

The hill down to this pub is not for the fainthearted. But it is worth the effort for some breath-taking views over the beach and bay. One of our favourite pubs, with a beautiful garden where you can sit and spot seals. When it gets colder there is a roaring fire in the cosy bar.

Me & Mrs Jones

Meadfoot Beach Cafe

This beachside restaurant does breakfasts from 9am onwards and Wednesday night is pizza night during the Summer.  Meadfoot Sea Road, Torquay TQ1 2LQ. Check it is open on 01803 213988 as it has to close in bad weather.

Winking Prawn, Beadon Road, Salcombe, TQ8 8LD. Beachside café, with a wonderful view of North Sands. You can watch surfers or hunt for scallop shells when the tide is out. Great baguettes, salads and home-made cakes. An evening menu is also available.
